Nickelodeon will be premiering its new game show "BrainSurge" in a week or two. I was hired on to sort of lead along with four other very talented animators just out of art school. The show was a blast to work on. Between the five of us and in just four short months we cranked out hundreds of 30-60 sec animated games that were used on the show floor. The other animators went on to such places as Titmouse, Mattel and Gobelins. I scrounged up a bunch of my production art and made a clip show of animation from some of my games. One of my favorite cartoons I've had the pleasure to animate on is now online! It's called Sprawling Complex and it was a pilot for Warner Bros. You can watch it below. Directed by the awesome Greg Franklin.

Last year we made some animated shorts at Six Point for Gametap based on Atari 2600 games. Gametap recently uploaded all six cartoons to YouTube. I dug up my original thumbnail storyboards for Freeway and posted them below along with Cosmic Ark and Pressure Cooker. Enjoy!

FINAL BLOG POST BLOW-OUT!

My new webcomic SUGAR BABIEZ has been launched! Most of my web activity will be over there now at sugarbabiez.net. Thanks to everyone on Blogger, it's been fun and I'll still be back from time to time. Here are a couple comics as a taste of what's to come.

Also, finally released for the first time ever in mp3 format is Bursting Mosquitos - Lyrical Stylings for the Mentally Impaired. All previously unreleased songs spanning 1998-2002. Bursting Mosquitos was the ska punk band Tom and I were in over the course of our high school and early college years. Featuring the soothing sounds of Smo, TorF, Ryan, Patfox, Doug, Toby, Jeremy and yours truly. Features cover art work by Val Hochberg that she made up for our old web site.
